Mental Health Nutrition
Rachael can help you work through mental health issues with the help of nutritional interventions, using both foods and supplements.
We will work through assessment of nutritional needs, food choice, exploring the gut-brain axis, and consider how specific nutrients can influence mood, cognitive function, and stress resilience. We can explore with you the root causes of emotional and mental health. .
If you are tapering off of a psychiatric medication, Rachael can help! The many symptoms that arise, are often the body reacting to the change in availability of the drug, and nutrition often can come in to play to help. If you are tapering off a benzodiazepine, Rachael can connect you with a Benzo tapering coach, and will collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
GI Issues
A frustrating and complex web to unravel. Whether stemming from an eating disorder, or a primary concern, RMN can help you find healing and move toward peaceful engagement with food. Rachael will help you find answers to issues such as SIBO, IBS, and FODMAP questions.
